Homeschool with a plan, and the records to show for it.

MySkoolio is the homeschool planner for Australian families. It plans each child's week, keeps the records your state asks for, and turns them into reports when it's time to renew.

We'll only email you about the launch. Leave the list any time.

From Monday's plan to the end-of-year report.

The planning, teaching and record keeping that homeschooling takes, in one place, for every child in the family.

A plan for every child, every week

Tell us each child's year level and how you like to learn. You get a balanced week across the learning areas, and you can change any lesson.

A day your kids can follow

Each child sees today's lessons and ticks them off. Every tick goes into your records.

Their work, kept and sorted

Snap a photo of a worksheet or a painting. It's dated, filed by learning area, and stripped of location data.

Sick days don't wreck the week

Mark a sick day or an excursion and the lessons move to later in the week.

See what's in place

A plain checklist of the records you have and what's still missing. No made-up scores.

Every child, one family plan

One subscription covers all your children, each with their own plan, records and portfolio.

Reports, ready when you are

Export term reports, registration documents and daily checklists as PDFs, built from what you've recorded. Check them, then send them yourself.

What your state actually asks for.

Each state runs home education its own way. Here's what the regulators say, in plain English, with a link to the source. We start with Queensland, NSW and Victoria, and the other states and territories follow.

Homeschooling in Queensland

Regulator: Home Education Unit, Department of Education

  • Apply for registration with a summary of your child's educational program.
  • Provide a high-quality education suited to your child's age, ability and aptitude.
  • Send a written report on your child's progress each year, with work samples, by the date in your registration letter.
  • There's no set number of hours or days.

How MySkoolio helps. Your weekly plans become the program summary, and dated work samples are grouped by learning area, ready for the annual report.

Home schooling registration in NSW

Regulator: NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

  • Base your child's program on the NESA syllabuses for their stage.
  • Keep records of what you planned, what you taught, and your child's progress.
  • Meet with an Authorised Person, who reviews your program and records.
  • Allow enough learning time to cover the curriculum. No minimum is set.

How MySkoolio helps. Plans, completed lessons, learning days and work samples are recorded as you go, so your records are ready when the Authorised Person visits.

Homeschooling in Victoria

Regulator: Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA)

  • Register with a learning plan that substantially addresses the 8 learning areas.
  • Provide regular and efficient instruction. No minimum hours are set.
  • Up to 10% of families are selected for review each year.

How MySkoolio helps. Each child's plan shows all 8 learning areas, and your records and work samples are organised for a review if you're selected.

Questions parents ask.

How many hours a day do you have to homeschool in Australia?

Queensland, NSW and Victoria don't set a minimum number of hours or days for home education. NSW asks for enough learning time to cover the curriculum, and Victoria asks for regular and efficient instruction. MySkoolio records the time you spend without inventing a target.

Do I need to register to homeschool in Australia?

Yes. Every state and territory asks you to register with its home education regulator: the Home Education Unit in Queensland, NESA in NSW and the VRQA in Victoria. MySkoolio helps you prepare, and you apply to the regulator yourself.

Does MySkoolio register my child for me?

No. Registration is between you and your state's regulator, and the regulator decides. MySkoolio keeps your plan, records and work samples in one place and turns them into documents you can check and send.

Does it follow the curriculum for my state?

Each child's plan is organised around the learning areas your state uses, and you can adjust every lesson. At launch we cover Queensland, NSW and Victoria, with the other states and territories after that.

Can I use it for more than one child?

Yes. One family plan covers all your children, each with their own weekly plan, records and portfolio.

What is the founding price?

Join the waitlist before launch and you can subscribe for $2.79 a month or $27.59 a year, 69% less than the launch prices of $8.99 and $89. Subscribe within 14 days of launch and the founding price stays for as long as your subscription is active.

Is my children's information private?

Your family's plans, records and photos are only visible to your family. Photos have their location data removed on your device, before they're uploaded.

Is MySkoolio faith-based?

It works for any family. Christian and Seventh-day Adventist families can turn on daily devotionals, a Sabbath countdown and faith-based resources.

When does MySkoolio launch?
